Arsenal ace: If we wan’t to bounce back next season, this is what we simply must do

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern want to see a few trophies return to the Emirates next season, and goalkeeper Petr Cech thinks he knows what the Gunners need to do to achieve that…

According to the Evening Standard, Cech said: “For next season, you need to respect every competition as we’ve always been doing and carry on the momentum…we need to keep the team together and try to strengthen it in the areas where the manager would like to and then we will be ready to go again”.

There is clearly a lot of work to be done at the Emirates this summer, with the Gunners way off the pace in the Premier League at present. Offering no real threat in the Premier League for much of the campaign, a lot of investment is certainly needed this summer.

It is also important, as Cech says, t0 keep Arsenal’s strongest players. Figures like Cech himself, Sanchez, Ozil and Koscielny will be vital to any success next season – and to lose any of them would pose a big problem for Arsene Wenger.

For Cech’s part, his form has been steadily improving as the season has progressed – despite a wobble earlier in the campaign. Whilst the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been impressed ith him this season, they will be demanding more from everyone next year.

Our landlord thinks that the Gunners will do well next yeah, and an FA Cup final win this weekend could be the spark that the club needs to improve.
