The Daily Mail states Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola is keen to join a club in London, should he fail to agree and sign a new contract with the Bundesliga champions.
Catalan boss Guardiola sees his current contract in Bavaria expire at the end of the current season, with their being question marks as to whether he will sign a new deal, as the reports suggest he’s told friends he wants to manage in the Premier League.
With London being his preferred destination, it hands a huge boost to Arsenal and Chelsea; who have both been linked with the signature of the former Barcelona manager.
Guardiola has long been touted as Arsene Wenger’s successor in North London, whilst Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has earmarked the boss as the ideal replacement for under-fire Jose Mourinho.
Gooners at the bar believe Guardiola is almost certain to join the Gunners, indicating that he’s unlikely to deal with Chelsea due to his past clashes with the Blues and former Real Madrid boss Mourinho.
