Gunners and Liverpool fans have been treated to some good news today in the Football Transfer Tavern, and over a few post work Friday pints of TT Ale are getting quite excited about the possibility of bringing this Real Madrid man to the club.
After watching his side lose 3-1 to Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane faced questions from the press on a whole host of issues, and the future of attacking midfielder Jese Rodriguez was one of them.
The French manager was not clear on the future of the Spanish international but would not rule out a move either, he said: “If he wants to leave to play more, I don’t know,
“It’s our first game. He’s here, he played. Everyone’s here, that’s all I can say now.”
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with The Gunners and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool supposedly monitoring the situation.
The attacking midfielder, turned pop-star who recently released his debut single (I’m not lying, trust me), has been used mainly as a substitute by Galacticos’ boss Zidane, scoring five goals and setting up seven over the last season.
Liverpool and Arsenal fans, we want to hear from you! Would you like to see Jese at your club? If a bidding war begins where will he end up? Let us know below…
