Arsenal and Man United amongst top-clubs chasing goalkeeping talent

wengerrrFans in the Transfer Tavern are rubbing their hands together in excitement after reports suggest that a major battle will emerge for the signature of an exceptionally talented young goalkeeper.

The Daily Record states that Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Leicester are all keen to sign Scotland U15 international Josh Donaldson.

Dundee United stopper Donaldson, who has also been with Hearts and Rangers, is currently on-trial with North London giants Arsenal.

Surprisingly overlooked for a recent Scotland U16 squad to compete in the Victory Shield, Donaldson is a regular at U15 level and is tipped for a bright future- though it seems that will be south of the border.

His Scottish clubs would be due compensation if one of the Premier League elite were to snatch his signature but it won’t be a huge fee and each of the interested clubs have the financial strength to secure a move comfortably.
