Arsenal and Man United on alert as European giant prepare clear-out

Real MadridArsenal and Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern often have to be separated, especially after last weekend’s result, but they’ve gathered together today to exchange rounds and discuss an exciting news story that relates to both clubs.

The Sun cites reports in Spain and indicates that Real Madrid are planning to offload ten players this summer, some of which are reported targets for Manchester United and Arsenal.

Real Madrid, who replaced Rafael Benitez with Zinedine Zidane in mid-season, have struggled to find form domestically and their defeat to rivals Atletico Madrid last week left Los Blancos out of the La Liga title race.

To make matters worse, they were embarrassingly chucked out of the Copa Del Rey for fielding an ineligible player and their Champions League campaign looks set for disappointment if they don’t up their performances.

Real Madrid chief wants to overhaul the squad in the summer as a result of the struggles, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, both reported targets for Manchester United, telling the Spanish side they want to leave.

Also amongst those on their way out are a pair Arsenal are keen on, Isco and Jese Rodriguez, whilst Premier League sides could also move for Toni Kroos, Alvaro Arbeloa, James Rodriguez, Casemiro and Danilo.

Our landlord feels the majority of those players may well end up in the Premier League next season, as he recalls numerous transfer stories previously involving the crop of talented players.

Which club should move for these stars? Let us know in the comments below!
