Adrian Lopez has burst firmly back onto the radar here at the Football Transfer Tavern as it has been claimed by talkSPORT that the forward is wanted by not one but two Premier League clubs and rivals at that in the form of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Atletico Madrid forward has been on the fringes of a squad that boasts talent like Radamel Falcao this season and is reportedly een on a move away from the Vicente Calderon. Both North London rivals are interested in the striker and could well make a move for him in the summer.
Los Colchoneros boss Diego Simeone is preparing to lose his number one forward Falcao this summer and will be bringing new faces into the club in order to maintain their success and Spanish international Adrian feels he is not part of the future at the club.
Despite being sensational last season, bagging 19 goals, 11 of which were in the brilliant run to winning the Europa League, the 25-year-old has not reached those heights this season and a move to the Premier League could be just what he needs to get his career back on track. Not only are Spurs and Arsenal looking at the player but Everton and Liverpool have considered an approach for the former Deportivo La Coruna man too.
Who will win the war for Adrian, if any of the sides at all? Rate this rumour below.
