It’s been a fiercely contested season between the two north London sides in the Premier League this term and in the Transfer Tavern, excitement is building up following reports which suggest the battle ius set to enter the transfer market.
The Daily Express states the two giants of English football are set to go toe-to-toe with each other for the signature of Marseille’s electric forward Michy Batshuayi, with the Belgian striker having established himself as one of the brightest young forwards in world football.
In Ligue 1 this season, only Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani and Alexandre Lacazette have scored more goals, as the striker has 13 goals and has also contributed with eight assists to his team-mates.
That’s led to a wealth of interest from across Europe, with the player rated at a cool £25m, and Arsenal and Spurs have both sent scouts to watch the forward recently.
With Arsenal chasing a quality striker and Spurs eyeing a forward partner for Harry Kane, this chase could get feisty.
