Arsenal boss considering exit as fan unrest continues to grow

wenger80922Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern haven’t been best pleased by the club’s recent form and the publicity around their unhappiness with Arsene Wenger seems to have reached the man himself.

The Daily Mail state Wenger could walk this summer if fans continue to process, which would see Arsenal’s most successful manager end his 19-year reign in north London.

A woeful run of just two victories from their last nine Premier League matches has seen Arsenal drop from first to third in the table, now 11 points behind Leicester City with a game in hand, whilst the Gunners also endured a painful FA Cup exit at the weekend.

With failings to advance on the European stage too, trailing 2-0 heading into tomorrow’s second-leg against Barcelona, many supporters have reached the end of their patience and Wenger may leave as a result, despite having the full backing of the board.

Our landlord and a selection of the supporters are concerned though, as they’re not sure who Arsenal could bring in as a replacement and they also remember the problems Manchester United have endured since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.

Arsenal fans, is axing Wenger the only choice now? Let us know in the comments below!
