Arsenal boss gagged his players after Hull City draw!

Wenger has gotten over his fear of spending Metro have Arsenal fans looking astounded here in the Football Transfer Tavern, as they claim that the Gunners boss actually BANNED his players from speaking to the media after their draw to Hull.

The Arsenal boss himself underwent a rather humiliating interview with reporter Jacqui Oatley, where he came off petulant and child like at best and clearly decided that he did not want his players to appear in the same way – or as one of our punters points out, he probably just did not want to add fuel to the fire.

Danny Welbeck was asked to comment on the game on his way out of the stadium and told press that he was ‘not allowed’ to make a comment

Now as our landlord notes over the pool table, we are rather used to managers banning players from speaking to the press with former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson famous for his long running issues with the BBC, and refusing to answer questions from them himself, but we think this latest sign from Wenger is just another sign that the long serving Arsenal boss has lost the plot.

Arsenal fans. What did you think of the press ban? Let us know your thoughts below.
