Arsenal boss hints at next move after missing out on Euro 2016 forward

wengerwengerdArsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleased to see their club has a ‘Plan B’ in mind after missing out on a big signing, following comments made by their boss.

Metro quotes Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as praising the talent within French football and speculate it will be the target of the Frenchman’s latest transfer swoop, after the Gunners appeared to miss out on the services of Jamie Vardy.

‘At the moment most of the young talented players are from France,’ said Wenger. We speak about [Anthony] Martial, [Kingsley] Coman, who are still 20.’

‘I saw a very interesting talent the other day to come on for Turkey – Mor. He has just signed for Dortmund. I was very impressed by his talent. There are other players like Sane from Germany, who has not played yet.’

Our landlord isn’t too convinced though as three of the four mentioned are signed to big clubs, with one of those moving recently, whilst Leroy Sane is heavily tipped to complete a lucrative transfer to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Still, he concedes France would be a good market to exploit as deals aren’t usually as expensive as elsewhere on the continent, whilst the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Michy Batshuayi are still available.

Arsenal fans, who should you move for now after missing out on Vardy? Let us know in the comments below!
