Arsenal boss set to hold talks with 24-year-old midfielder

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are beginning to get a bit concerned about Granit Xhaka…

The midfielder was brought to the Emirates over the summer in a move that delighted the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern – with many feeling that a tenacious midfielder was exactly what their side needed.

Unfortunately for them, though, Xhaka has, as of yet, failed to establish himself within the Arsenal first team – and perhaps most concerning of all, he has already built up a reputation as having a poor disciplinary record.

He has already picked up 2 red cards so far this season – with the latest coming over the weekend – and it would appear as though Arsene Wenger is not happy with the path that his star midfielder is heading down.

According to the Sun, Arsene Wenger is set to hold showdown talks with Xhaka – with the French manager reportedly ‘furious’ with his poor disciplinary record since his arrival.

The Arsenal fans are glad about this, as they are beginning to get seriously concerned that Xhaka’s poor disciplinary record could cost the Gunners going forward. Of course, it nearly did at the weekend – with a last minute penalty from Alexis Sanchez eventually saving the Gunners.

Xhaka has made 15 starts so far this season, and has picked up 2 yellows alongside his 2 red cards in that time.
