Arsenal boss to be handed £50m January transfer budget

The brilliant German international has made a great start to life at the Emirates Stadium following his club record £42.5 million deadline day move from Real Madrid. And now Gunners supporters in the tavern want more quality players arriving in North London in the near future.

Good news has arrived as the The Express now report that Arsene Wenger will be handed a £50 million transfer budget to strengthen his side in the January transfer window.

The reports come after Arsenal’s latest accounts were revealed which showed their overall turnover rise to £242.8 million with commercial and retail revenue increasing to £62 million, offering Wenger a large budget of £50 million to boost their ranks.

“With the Ozil transfer deal I believe that we have made a significant statement and when Arsene decides the time is right to invest again, Stan Kroenke, myself and the rest of the Board will be delighted to support him,” said Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick.

This new financial muscle offers hopes that Arsenal can now mount a realistic Premier League title challenge and another arrival similar to Ozil wouldn’t go amiss in January for the Gunners fans sat talking in the tavern.
