Arsenal boss to fight until the end to land reinforcements

Wenger has gotten over his fear of spending Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has punters looking up rather interestedly here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the Daily Mail claim that the Frenchman will be bringing in more players before the deadline.

As our regulars note over a pint, it seems that there will be no doubt about the fact that unless a fourth-placed finish is on the cards, or even worse, Wenger simply has to bring in a forward before the deadline strikes on Monday.

The Gunners boss claimed: “You sign players when you think it strengthens your squad. If you find the right player, then you want to do it.

“We’ve shown in the last two seasons that when we think money has to be spent, we do it. But we want to do it in the right way.

“I will be on alert until the last minute of the transfer deadline.”

Arsenal have been linked with QPR’s Loic Remy – who now seems Chelsea bound – and also Radamel Falcao who seems to be joining Real Madrid and as our landlord notes, not only is time running out but the choice in players is as well!
