Arsenal chief set for Gunners stay despite interest from America

It’s been a seriously disappointing season for Arsenal in the Premier League, who have struggled both domestically and in the Champions League with pressure on Arsene Wenger growing week-by-week.

And their supporters here in the Transfer Tavern have been growing increasingly frustrated with what they’ve seen from Arsene Wenger’s side this campaign, with a distinct lack of quality being shown throughout the season.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal future is still in doubt but one man that looks to be staying at the Emirates is Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis.

According to the Times, he’s set to remain in-charge at the Emirates for at least another two years, despite being lined up by American bosses who are keen for him to make the move to increase the profile of the MLS.

Whether Gazidis will oversee a Wenger exit or not is yet to be seen but with discontent growing both on the paddocks and amongst fans here in the pub, there’s some big decisions to be made at the club this summer.

Arsenal fans- does Gazidis remaining at the club make any difference to Wenger’s possible exit or not? Leave your thoughts in the commments below!
