Arsenal committed to signing highly-rated Spaniard

IscoArsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing what they want to see their club do in terms of January business and they’ve been left astonished by Arsenal’s determination in one man.

Over at the tapas bar, Fichajes have claimed that the Gunners are ‘committed’ to bring Isco to North London- despite the fact he’s valued very highly by Real Madrid.

Whilst Isco faces strong competition for first-team football in the Spanish capital from James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale, injuries to the duo have given Isco his chance of an extended run in the first-team; where he can raise his profile amongst Rafael Benitez’ squad.

The 23-year-old midfielder also believes that playing in Madrid gives him the best chance of securing a spot in Vicente Del Bosque’s squad for the European Championships next summer, which hands another blow to Arsenal.

Although Isco would be a perfectly-molded replacement to ageing Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla, the pursuit of former Malaga star Isco seems to be ambitious at the very least.

Arsenal fans, would Isco be the ideal signing in January? How would he fit into the team? Let us know your opinions in the comments below!
