Arsenal considering shock move to replace Arsene Wenger with arch-nemesis

mourinhoooo! Some things in life just don’t go hand-in-hand. Think killer robots and Sarah O’Connor, World Cup success and England, chocolate and carrots. Even the best plans don’t always go to plan, just ask Chelsea fans about Andriy Shevchenko.

Therefore, the recent reports floating around the Transfer Tavern have really rubbed some people up the wrong way- as it’s suggested Arsenal are considering a move that would be remarkable.

One World Sports report that Arsenal are contemplating a swoop for Jose Mourinho, as pressure upon Arsene Wenger rises after a woeful run of results in the past two months.

Many suspect that Wenger could see his 20-year reign at Arsenal brought to a close this summer but the appointment of Mourinho as his successor would be truly unbelievable, with the pair having clashed throughout their managerial careers.

The feisty Mourinho first rattled Wenger’s cage in 2005, his first year in charge of Chelsea, but the rivalry turned sour two years ago when the Portuguese boss dubbed Wenger a specialist in failure- quite ironic in the end, as Arsenal won the FA Cup as Chelsea went the season empty-handed.

Still, Mourinho’s reputation remains solid despite a disastrous stint with Chelsea this season, which ultimately led to the boss’ sacking in mid-December, and a host of top-sides want his signature.

Arsenal fans, would you accept Mourinho at Arsenal? Let us know in the comments below!
