Arsenal could land World Cup star on a free transfer

Guillermo OchoaFans in the Football Transfer Tavern were last night incredibly impressed with Guillermo Ochoa’s super saves for Mexico that earned a respectable World Cup Group A draw with hosts Brazil.

His performance has already impressed potential suitors from the Premier League according to the Daily Star who report that the the stopper is a target for North London side Arsenal.

The Mexican goalkeeper was in fine form last night denying Neymar and co on numerous occasions to earn them a point.

The man dubbed the ‘Mexican Jesus’ is available on a free transfer this summer having left French side Ajaccio following their relegation to Ligue 2.

His stunning performance will see him have no trouble securing a contract upon the end of the summer’s World Cup with Arsenal monitoring the situation as they look for competition for Wojciech Szczesny.

The Gunners of course waved goodbye to Lukasz Fabianski who permanently joined Swansea City last month.
