Most punters in the Football Transfer Tavern have little sympathy with the Gunners.
And now there are even more disappointed faces among the Arsenal contingent as the Daily Star suggest that right back Bacary Sagna has turned down a new contract.
The French international sees his contract expiring in the summer and he has reportedly decided to find a fresh start elsewhere after being annoyed with the length of time it took the club to offer him a new deal.
Sagna, who turns 31 on Friday, could now end up at one of their Premier League rivals with both Chelsea and Manchester City understood to be keeping tabs on his contract progress. Other options for the defender include Ligue 1 giants Monaco, while Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are thought to hold an interest in his services.
The paper also suggests that Second choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will be departing when his contract expires in the summer, with the 28-year-old Polish international keen on gaining regular first team football away from the Emirates Stadium.
Can the Gunners hang onto the French international in the summer or does his future lay away from the Emirates Stadium? Let us know your thoughts below.
