Arsenal eye move for prolific forward; Man City also keen

Wonderkids are a popular topic here in the Football Transfer Tavern…

Everyone loves seeing a young footballer break into a senior side; and both Arsenal and Man City are seemingly keen to give an exciting young Italian star that very opportunity.

According to the Sun, Arsenal have sent scouts to watch highly-rated Juventus starlet Moise Kean, who could be on the verge of making his first team debut for the Serie A giants.

At just 16-years-old, Keane is already attracting interest from across Europe – and the Sun also add that Man City are keeping tabs on the youngster.

Keane has been quickly progressing through the ranks at both club and international level, having already played 21 times for the Italy under 15’s, 16’s and 17’s in recent years  – whilst he now regularly turns out for the Juventus under 19’s at club level.

The youngster has played his football exclusively in Italy thus far, having progressed through the ranks in his home-nation; but a move to one of England’s biggest clubs could prove tempting.

He has already scored 5 goals in 5 appearances so far this season, having turned out in both the UEFA Youth League and Primavera B league for Juventus.

Any deal will not be easy however, with our landlord suggesting that his agent – Mino Raiola – is notoriously hard to deal with.

Judging by his record, though – he will be worth all the effort.
