Arsenal eyeing swoop for exciting Premier League winger

AaronsArsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are an angry bunch after witnessing another February implosion over the past few weeks and many of them had to stay behind yesterday to clean up after smashing pints in anger after an embarrassing performance yesterday.

With some fans now believing the Gunners are out of the title race, they’ve switched their attention to the changes that could be made in the summer- and they’re debating an interesting story from today’s papers.

The Daily Mirror¬†states Arsenal are looking to move for Newcastle United’s Rolando Aarons this summer, with the young winger looking likely to leave Tyneside upon the expiration of his contract.

Aarons has warmed the bench in the North East for the majority of the campaign so far, where he’s made just eight appearances, but he’s highly-rated by many and is tipped to enjoy a successful career.

Arsenal’s regular search for quality young talent has led them to look at the 20-year-old, although they face competition from Italian duo AC Milan and Juventus for the youngster’s services.

Our landlord feels that Aarons would fit into Arsenal’s squad perfectly, although he has conceded they need more experienced players as a priority.

Arsenal fans, would Aarons be a better option than Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain? Let us know in the comments below!
