Arsenal fans are having a fun summer here in the Football Transfer Tavern what with the fact they are fighting for players to arrive, not focusing on keeping them for once and Metro have identified yet another transfer target for the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger is considering making a move for Croatian starlet Tin Jedvaj of Dinamo Zagreb this summer and is willing to go head to head with both Roma and AC Milan in order to do so.
Gunners fans may be focusing on the potential arrival of Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain which as one of our punters quips, seems to be taking tips from the Never Ending Story, yet Wenger is focusing on other targets to add to his side also.
No longer happy with finishing in the top four, the Frenchman is trying to lure players he feels will actually be able to bring a trophy home to the Emirates Stadium after a very long barren spell and feels that the Croatian starlet could well be one of the key men to do this.
The player’s agent noted that there is a huge deal of interest in his client, claiming that: “Roma offered £5 million for Tin, but that was rejected.
“Milan and Arsenal are both interested though, we expect to hear more from them.”
Wenger of course has a war chest this summer of around £70 million and could well be willing to dip into this in order to bring the best thing to come out of Croatia since Luka Modric to the Premier League.
