Arsenal fans took to Twitter to ask the club to sign Mikel Oyarzabal in exchange for Nacho Monreal following a report by Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish publication are claiming that Arsenal and Real Sociedad are yet to reach an agreement over the transfer of Monreal to the Spanish club. However, a deal which sees Arsenal sign a player in exchange could be a possibility.
The 22-year-old has hit 25 goals across the last two seasons in the Spanish top-flight, earning him a call-up to the Spain national team.
Monreal has featured in all three Premier League games this season, including the most recent 3-1 defeat away to Liverpool.
The Spain international moved to Arsenal from Malaga back in January 2013 for a fee believed to £10m.
