The calls come after a video was shared online of the player’s assist for Nicolas Pepe’s goal in Ivory Coast’s 3-1 win over DR Congo yesterday. After some superb skill and dribbling on the wing, Zaha crossed it for Pepe, who flicked it in for the side’s second goal (via Twitter)

The Ivory Coast international was a target for the north London club in the summer window, reportedly being made the club’s number one target (per the Daily Star) with Crystal Palace slapping a £100m asking price on the player, per the Guardian. However, the club opted to sign his international teammate Pepe from French club Lille.

The 23-year-old has struggled with life at the Emirates Stadium so far, scoring just one goal in his 10 games in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).

After watching the piece of skill from Zaha, fans took to Twitter to ask the club to sign him.
