Arsenal: Fans call for Unai Emery to be sacked after Wolves draw

Arsenal once again failed to secure victory on Saturday afternoon as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves at the Emirates (via BBC Sport).

The Gunners had taken the lead thanks to a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the first half, but were forced to take just one point from the game after Raul Jimenez equalised for the visitors.

The result leaves Arsenal in fifth place in the Premier League table at the time of writing, and a huge 14 points adrift of leaders Liverpool (BBC Sport).

Unai Emery’s side have not been in good form at the moment, and the draw against Wolves means that they have now won just one of their last five matches in all competitions (Transfermarkt).

In that time they have lost to Sheffield United and have lost the lead in three matches against Crystal Palace, Liverpool and now Wolves. Things could have been worse had the West Midlands side been more clinical too, as they have a whopping 25 shots at the Gunners’ goal (BBC Sport).

As a result many Arsenal fans are beginning to lose faith in Emery, with many calling for him to be sacked after their latest failure.

Here is what some had to say on Twitter after the game…
