Arsenal will take on Brentford tomorrow night in The Carabao Cup and ahead of the game the club has tweeted the latest injury information that they have ahead of the clash. Most of the news is good, with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sokratis Papastathopoulous, Sead Kolasinac and Carl Jenkinson all either back in full training or being assessed for tomorrow’s match.
We’ve got fresh medical updates on…

Unai Emery is being expected to field a weaker side against Brentford than what he’s been putting out in the Premier League and it could be an opportunity for him to throw in some of those who are on their way back from injury. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the likes of Jenkinson and Kolasinac, who have been out injured for a long time now. Whilst Mkhitaryan and Sokratis may not be risked and are likely to be rested ahead of Watford this weekend.
The other players that the club gave updates on were Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Laurent Koscielny and Dinos Mavropanos. The trio will be unavailable for tomorrow’s clash and it will be at least four weeks until the fans get to see any of them back in full training. The focus for the fans will be Brentford and they’ll be keen to see some of their returning players given a chance in the first team tomorrow evening and there’ll be a big cheer is any of them can make the eleven.

Sokratis = dead leg? How bad can that be? Isn’t that something that just goes away after a few minutes? I thought he had a problem with his knee!?

Great to have Kolasinac back. Hope the news on Mkhitaryan will be positive ahead of our next game.
