The Arsenal fans among us in the Tavern are all agreeing on the reasons behind the poor form of Bosnian left-back, Sead Kolasinac. The Gooners behind the bar seem to think that pantomime villain, Arsene Wenger, is at fault for the 24-year-old’s recent displays as the club slumped to their 4th defeat in a row against Brighton.
Arsenal fans have had a torrid time of late as they endure what is certainly their worst season under Arsene Wenger’s guidance. The only saving grace for the North London club is that they’re still fighting in the Europa League, although AC Milan could be putting a stop to that this week. Every Arsenal player seems to be low on confidence at the moment and none more so than Sead Kolasinac, in first season with the club.
In his first few months with the club, our resident Arsenal fans were loving Kolasnac as he gained a ‘cult hero’ status for his incredible strength on the left of Arsenal’s defence. In recent weeks though he’s looked shaky and appears to be struggling with the intensity and pace of the English game, leading fans to criticise Wenger for his handling of the player.
Thinking about that, here’s the Gooners’ take on the situation:
Not sure he’s the problem though is he? Wenger has been there for years.

Confidence issue so as the whole team. Blame the manager not the players.

Everybody will struggle at arsenal as far as Wenger stays.

He is a really good player in a team struggling to find themselves… Admittedly he has been having bad performances but with the right coach and team he will do wonders…
