Arsenal had a very productive summer transfer window last time out following the arrival of Unai Emery. With the boss given the chance to improve his squad in a number of areas, players including Bernd Leno and Lucas Torreira moved to the Emirates – and many of the summer recruits have enjoyed good debut seasons.
Though there’s still a long way to go in the current Premier League season, talk is already beginning to turn to the 2019 iteration of the summer transfer window, and it’s fair to say that one rumour has piqued the interest of the Arsenal fans over on Reddit.
Indeed, as per Football.London, Brendan Rodgers’ move to Leicester City could perhaps open up the door for Kieran Tierney to leave, given that the manager had been key to the defender’s desire to remain at Celtic Park. Significantly, Arsenal are said to be long-term admirers, and given their doubts over the suitability of Sead Kolasinac and the age of Nacho Monreal, there is a chance that they could look to move for the left-back.
Tierney has emerged as one of Scotland’s finest young talents over the last couple of years. A solid left back with great defensive and offensive quality, he’s certainly one for the present and future, and it appears as though Arsenal are well aware of that.
The Arsenal fans online, too, are interested in Tierney, and many have taken to Reddit to identify him as their dream signing…
