Arsenal fans and former players have taken to Twitter to remember club legend David Rocastle 18 years following his passing.
Rocky, as he was known as at the club, passed away in 2001 and is regarded as one of the greatest players to play for Arsenal.
After joining the club as a 15-year-old, Rocastle went on to spend a decade in north London, winning two Division One titles with Arsenal as well as a League Cup. The midfielder was also picked twice in the PFA Player of the Season and was named Barclays Young Eagle twice during his time with the Gunners.

Rocky played in the first match I ever saw at Highbury…. class and finesse… He was my favourite player the whole time he was there…. died too young…. never forgotten

He was able to wriggle past two players and have the vision to see the keeper off his line and then have the audacity to chip it past arguably one of man united greatest ever keepers is simply sensational.
