Some Arsenal fans took to Twitter to question Unai Emery after they were posed the question, ‘do you think Mesut Ozil will start against Wolverhampton Wanderers?’.
The Germany international has been frozen out this season, playing just three of the 15 games across all competitions. His only Premier League outing came in the 2-2 draw away to Watford earlier in the season (via Transfermarkt).
Should Ozil come back into the team after Liverpool performance?
Ozil featured in Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup clash away to Liverpool as the Gunners threw away a two-goal lead to eventually lose on penalties.
Amid the chaos, Ozil was in sumptuous form playing two key passes and racking up an assist for the fourth goal by Ainsley Maitland-Niles (via WhoScored).
After freezing him out for so long, manager Unai Emery came out after the Liverpool game and said Ozil could feature in tomorrow’s Premier League game against Wolves (via The Metro).
Fans were in disagreement and believe the Basque-born manager won’t start him tomorrow as they took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
Why would he? Doing the right thing is not in his nature.

As much as we all want him to and as much as he says he will, he won’t and we all know it.
