Arsenal fans have been lauding Eddie Nketiah after he scored in the England under-21s 2-2 draw away to Slovenia in their international friendly.
Is Unai Emery the right man for Arsenal?
The £7.2m-rated man gave the Young Lions the lead in the first-half when he put away a penalty after a foul from Zan Zaletal. The striker was subbed off at half-time as he made way for Sam Surridge, who went on to double the side’s lead.
The 20-year-old is on-loan at Championship side Leeds United, however, has struggled for minutes under the boss Marcelo Bielsa. Nketiah has started no league games for the Yorkshire side, making just seven substitute appearances (via Transfermarkt).
Joe Willock also featured for Aidy Boothroyd’s side, eventually being substituted in the 63rd minute.
After his goal scoring feats with the England under-21 side, fans were praising Nketiah as they took to Twitter to give their reactions.
