Arsenal fans on Twitter call for romantic Giroud return
Arsenal fans were loving their weekend on Saturday evening when they overcame London rivals Chelsea 2-0 at The Emirates in a commanding win. After the game, whilst celebrating the win, the fans were also treated to seeing a familiar face as Olivier Giroud featured for the Blues, and the Gunners are desperate to have him back.

The Gunners are still gutted to think that this time last year they allowed Giroud to leave The Emirates for one of their fiercest rivals. The Frenchman has still got plenty of use left in him, amd after five and a half seasons at The Emirates, the fans believed that he still had plenty to offer, especially seeing as in his time at in North London he contributed 105 goals and 41 assists in 253 outings.
So far at Chelsea, the Frenchman has been unable to replicate anywhere near those kind of numbers. Giroud may be getting on a bit now at the age of 32, but considering he’s never relied on his pace, the striker would have expected better than his goal return of ten in 43 since swapping red for blue on the London footballing scene.

The Gunners would do anything to have Giroud back, especially seeing as he could do much for the Gunners than he has been doing for the Blues.
