This season has been one of experimentation for Unai Emery yet after 30 games the Gunners could be set for a top four spot and a trophy in the form of the Europa League. It really is the dream scenario given the lack of expectation at the start of the season. However, as the season draws to a close, the fans want to see more of Bukayo Saka.

At the tender age of just 17-years-old, the Arsenal academy man is tearing things up everywhere he goes. It says a lot that at 17 he’s been playing for the Arsenal U23 side, and in an England U19 clash yesterday against the Czech Republic the youngster fired in a brace in a 4-1 win. If the youngster continues at the rate he’s going then soon Emery will have no choice to be playing him, and the fans cannot wait.
The season so far has seen the youngster limited to playing in the Premier League 2, and despite the fact that Saka is still significantly younger than those he’s being pitted up against, he’s thriving. A total of four goals and four assists in 16 appearances is mightily impressive, and whilst this season may be too early for the youngster to stake his claim as a senior player, next season will be the one he’s eyeing up as his breakthrough year.

The Gunners could not be more excited about Saka and have complete faith in the 17-year-old to work his way through the system and into their first team, even if this season has come too soon for him.
