Every single year in football a new wonderkid bursts onto the scene, and without fail, the footballing world goes mad. Whether or not young Gabriel Martinelli will make the grade later in his career is yet to be seen, but for now, he’s doing enough for his club Ituano to be linked with a £5 million move to Arsenal by Fox Sport.

The Gunners have got a whole host of incredible young players on their books at the moment. The likes of Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith-Rowe, Joe Willock, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Tyreece John-Jules all have enough about them to carve out a successful career in the game, but there is just something about bringing in a young Brazilian wonderkid that gets fans excited.
This one is no different either. The youngster is just 17-years-old and his electric pace, trickery and eye for goal from the wings have made him a player of significant interest to a lot of teams. The articles and rumours surrounding the youngster claim that Arsenal are leading the way for his signature, although anything can happen between now and the summer as up to 25 clubs have got their eye on the starlet.

He’s got sore really nifty moves and has a nose for the goal. Learning under Laca and Auba would be huge for him.
