Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter and seen a post from Sky Sports Premier League which has prompted them to have a look at which World Cup stars they’d love to see at The Emirates next season. Some have gone with some bigger names whilst others have been impressed with more left-field options who have lit up Russia this summer.

Most Arsenal fans will just be waiting for the club to announce the signing of Lucas Torreira, the Uruguayan was supposed to make the move to Arsenal after completing his medical. The issue was that he was playing for his national team in Russia and refused to complete the medical until he was back from the World Cup as he was focusing on success with Uruguay.
Fortunately for The Gunners, Torreira’s Uruguay bombed out of the World Cup at the quarter-finals last Friday when they were beaten 2-0 by France courtesy of goals from Raphael Varane and Antoine Griezmann. He’s not the only one that the fans have been calling for though, with star’s from Russia, Mexico, Japan and South Korea all catching the eye of some of the Arsenal fans on Twitter.
