Arsenal fans on Twitter have been waxing lyrical over Mesut Ozil

Arsenal brushed Leicester City side yesterday, winning 3-1 at The Emirates to make it ten wins in a row and Unai Emery has his side playing like the Arsenal of old. Mesut Ozil put in what was arguably his best ever performance in an Arsenal shirt and when AFTV tweeted asking for their man of the match, Ozil received a staggering 82% of the votes.
Your Man of the Match tonight?

Emery will have been over the moon with the way his players stood up to play yesterday. After a poor first half that should have seen Leicester go in leading at the break, Arsenal used their luck from their first half and improved, scoring two second-half goals through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to give them their 3-1 lead, but without Ozil’s timely and classy equaliser om the stroke of half-time then it’s hard to see where they’d have been.
Ozil stepped up to the plate big time for his side, starting off a slick counter-attack before finishing it off himself. Then in the second half, the World Cup winner was at it again when he completed the final pass in one of the nicest team goals you’ll see this season, putting the ball on a plate for Auba to tap home into an empty net, giving his side a two-goal cushion and putting them out of sight as Leicester faltered.

The Gunners were in awe of Ozil’s performance last night and will want to see him put in more displays like that in the coming weeks.
