Arsenal fans on Twitter keen to see Joel Campbell given a chance

This summer has seen Unai Emery give the Arsenal squad a real revamp. Five new additions and a completely new regime on the training ground have made the Arsenal fans believe that they can start challenging again. A lot of supporters are also keen on seeing Costa Rican winger, Joel Campbell given more of a chance at The Emirates.

Joel Campbell made a name for himself when he was on loan to Olympiacos from Arsenal back in the 2013/14 season. In the Champions League the electric winger scored a with a delightful flick against Manchester United as the Greek side beat David Moyes’ side 2-0, however, the Manchester giants won the return leg at Old Trafford 3-0, knocking out Campbell and co.

That summer, Campbell as chosen as part of Costa Rica’s 23 man squad travelling to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup. The North American side were superb in their campaign, eventually being knocked out on penalties in the quarter-finals without losing a single match inside 90 minutes. Now, though, after a few years of stagnation, the 26-year-old could be set to get one more chance in North London by Unai Emery and the fans are hoping he can take it.

Whilst Campbell has fallen off the radar in recent years, the fans aren’t against giving him a chance this season.
