Arsenal fans have been looking on Twitter today to find that it's exactly 13 years to the day since Thierry Henry surpassed Ian Wright as the club's record goalscorer. The Frenchman's double in a 2-0 win over Sparta Prague in the Champions League saw him achieve the feat and the fans have been paying tribute to the club legend.

Henry is one of the best players to ever play for Arsenal and no one will ever be able to take that away from the Frenchman. His goals won The Gunners countless trophies and he truly is part of a golden era at Arsenal Football Club. In his time at Highbury and The Emirates, the supreme goalscorer netted 228 goals in 377 games for the North London club and it will be a long time before anyone gets close to eclipsing that total.

Henry has hung up his boots now and after a couple of jobs with Sky Sports News and the Belgium national team, he's now taking his first steps in senior management. The 41-year-old has returned to where it all began for him as he's taken charge of Monaco in the French Ligue 1. The romantics in the Arsenal fanbase are touting the Frenchman as one of their next great managers and it's something that the whole football world would love to see.
