Arsenal fans on Twitter loved seeing Bellerin on his feet as he steps up injury return

In football, there really is nothing worse than seeing a top professional suffer a lengthy injury. It becomes even worse when you’re an Arsenal fan and that player is Hector Bellerin, your starting right-back and one of the best in his position in the Premier League. However, yesterday the Spaniard posted a picture giving a lot of the fans hope.

At the age of just 23, no one likes to see a promising footballer go through the recovery process for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. It’s a well-known fact that some players never get back to who they were before such a horrific setback, and in the next six months we’ll find out whether or not Bellerin is one of those, until then though, the Gunners are fully behind the youngster.

Often criticised for his flashy lifestyle and fashion choices, there’s no hiding that Bellerin likes to stand out. At the moment though the fans are just happy to see him standing up and in rehab. When the defender was hooked against Chelsea after suffering the blow it was clear that we’d seen the last of Bellerin this season, yet the fan’s support for him hasn’t wavered even in injury and the Gunners will be ecstatic when he makes his long-awaited return next season.

You can read the Gunners’ delighted responses to seeing Bellerin on his feet here:

The Gunners have no issues waiting for Bellerin to recover and are all just hoping he can make a full recovery and get back his very best marauding down the right flank.
