Fpr the Arsenal fans who follow their side home and away, usually Alexandre Lacazette is one of the men who they’re relying upon to get them a result. However, today, away at Crystal Palace was very different. The French striker was off the pace in the 2-2 draw and the fans have been slating their key striker.
FT: The winning streak is over – frustrating after turning things around so well after half-time.

On a normal afternoon, Lacazette runs the show for The Gunners. When the Frenchman is able to combine with Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the only result is normally goals, and whilst he technically got an assist for The Gunners’ second, it was a blatant handball and the fans aren’t prepared to lavish praise upon the striker for it. Instead, they’ve been taking a pop at the ex-Lyon man for his lacking display in the capital.
The two Arsenal goals today came through a Granit Xhaka thunderbolt and an Auba tap in, whilst the Eagles netted twice from the spot through Luka Milivojevic. It was a game that Arsenal fans would have been desperate to win, especially seeing as it would have taken their winning run to 12 games. It’s made worse by the fact that Palace’s double today are the first goals that Roy Hodgson’s team have scored at home in the Premier League this season.

Lacazette. Terrible today

Laca should have gone off instead of Auba. He looked tired and out of sorts and ended up giving away the ball. But well that was a tough game. We'll take the draw

Why keep Lacazette when he was clearly faaar from good enough. Pulling Özil & Auba killed us. Nobody to play the killer pass.

Laca, MG, Ramsey, Iwobi were very poor today

The fans will be hoping Laca can turn it around next time he plays after his Palace shocker and will hope he can get back amongst the goals.
