North London derbies are always a massive affair, not only in London but for the whole of the Premier League. Yesterday’s clash between the white and the red of North London ended with The Gunners taking the bragging rights, and when the Lilywhites tweeted a video of Eric Dier discussing what went wrong, the Arsenal fans jumped on it, tearing into the England man.

Before Arsenal’s second-half resurgence, Tottenham were well and truly in the driver’s seat thanks to goals from Dier and Harry Kane. However, it didn’t last long as The Gunners came out of the traps at a rapid pace in the second 45 minutes that Mauricio Pochettino’s men simply couldn’t handle. It will have been even sweeter for The Gunner to see Lucas Torreira score their 4th and final goal, especially after seeing Dier score and ‘shush’ the fans.
Dier is a player that always seems to rile up his opposition. The young defensive midfielder often infuriates some of his own fans with his level of performance at times and whilst he was one of the key figures for the Lilywhites in yesterday’s derby, he still managed to make himself stand out for the wrong reasons, and it’s no surprise to see that The Gunners are giving it back to him now after his celebration of Tottenham’s equaliser.

Respect Ramsey lad.

The Gunners will be enjoying this moment as they laud their bragging rights, but it’s a long season and there will be plenty more to come from both sides.
