Arsenal fans on Twitter slate Gazidis as he’s unveiled to Milan fans

AC Milan have got the pleasure of working with ex-Arsenal chief executive, Ivan Gazidis. The South African businessman was in charge at The Emirates for just under ten years, and most of that was spent with the fans on his back demanding him to leave. Now, the supporters are still slating him, and have been warning AC Milan fans of what to expect from the 54-year-old.

Whilst Gazidis is one of the men most closely attributed to Arsenal’s downward spiral in the final years of the Arsene Wenger era, he did give the club a chance to recover before he left when he brought in Sven Mislintat and Unai Emery to lead the club forwards. However, he wouldn’t have had to make those changes and get them on a path to recovery had he not allowed the club to stagnate to such a point under his guidance.

Now, the Gunners will just be glad that they’re rid of the toxic South African and they’ll be enjoying every minute of this season as they continue to prosper under the magnanimous Unai Emery. However, the fans will be keeping a close eye on the San Siro and will be hoping that Gazidis won’t do with the famous Italian club what he did with them. Milan used to be one of Europe’s most feared sides, and after suffering a huge spiral over the last ten years, the Gunners don’t want to see the Rossoneri suffer even further.

The Gunners are already fearing the worst for AC Milan, but are ultimately just pleased that they’re rid of Gazidis themselves.
