Arsenal have been one of the most active clubs in the transfer window this summer. Not only have they brought in a new manager and five new players over the last couple of months but they could also be set to lose Ivan Gazidis to AC Milan. This report from football.london details the potential Gazidis move, and the fans have been discussing who they think the club’s new chief executive will be.
If the reports of Gazidis moving to Milan are true, I just hope he has informed the club, as well as Emery & Co. about it. Club has to now plan and get the right man in. Have a feeling Raul Sanllehi may play a huge role in this.

Being an Arsenal fan has not been easy over the last few years. The club hasn’t challenged for the Premier League in a very long time and everyone associated with the club would have been hoping that Unai Emery could put together a team capable of fighting for the title. However, he might have to do that with a new chief executive at the helm as well, with Gazidis being linked away to AC Milan.
Most fans are of the impression that if Gazidis is to up stakes and leave The Emirates then Stan Kroenke will take the easy option and appoint his son, Josh Kroenke, who’s currently on the board at the club. Some other fans have even made the call that Arsene Wenger should come back to the club in a more senior role. Whatever the outcome of the situation at the club, the supporters will be hoping all is resolved before their first game against Manchester City on August 12th.
You can see what the fans make of Gazidis and the chief executive position here:
Just as soon as the club is getting rebuilt, from top to bottom, Gazidis decides to go. He cannot go, he’s the main man and everyone loves it. Stupid for him to leave.

At that level you have 3 to 6 months notice period in your contract… So he’d go on gardening leave first anyway.

Personally think it could be Josh Kroenke taking over. Which will be interesting to say the least

It”s very strange that he leaves Arsenal.I hope that he will comment on his decision, because now everything looks suspiciously

It’s going to be Josh Kroenke if Gazidis leaves.

The fans don’t seem too optimistic about Gazidis and it will be interesting to see how the club fares if they end up appointing Josh Kroenke.
