Arsenal fans on Twitter have been put on high alert as RAC1 have broken the news that Barcelona star, Ousmane Dembele, has been told to find a new club in January. The French winger was part of his country’s World Cup-winning squad over the summer and The Gunners would do anything to secure his signature.
RAC1 | Barcelona have told Ousmane Dembele to consider his options for a potential move away from the club, in the January transfer window itself. We have to do everything we can to get him. Team will go up another level immediately.

The one thing that Arsenal fans have been claiming they need over the last few transfer windows is an out and out winger. In the form of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alex Iwobi and Mesut Ozil the club have some very impressive creative forced through the middle of the pitch, but when it comes to an outlet from wide who can create and score goals, the club are lacking and most fans would be over the moon if Unai Emery could sign Dembele.
Barcelona are unlikely to want to let the Frenchman go permanently though. They signed him for a ludicrous fee of around £100 million and there’s no way that Arsenal would be able to table a bid of that fee in January. That would make a loan option perfect for the club. Dembele would get a taste of Premier League action and The Gunners would get the man that they need for the second half of the season and would be able to assess whether or not he’d be Worthing shelling out big money for in summer.

The Gunners would love to add Dembele to their squad and whilst it would be an expensive move, it’s one that they like the sound of.
