Arsenal fans on Twitter would love to see Emery sign Stade Rennais’ Sarr

Arsenal fans will still be recovering from their European embarrassment at the hands of Stade Rennais yesterday, yet if the game taught them one thing, it’s that they could really do with a winger like Ismaili Sarr. The youngster was a constant thorn in the Gunners’ side and after the game, the fans have been calling for his signature.
Before the game, a lot of the fans were hoping to be able to keep an eye on the winger to see if he really is Arsenal material, and as it happened, he was one man they couldn’t afford to take their eyes off of. The Senegalese winger was an absolute star yesterday and did a superb job as Rennes’ main threat despite the fact he had to go at it without his partner in crime, M’Baye Niang.
The second leg of the te certainly won’t get any easier for the Gunners as Niang will be back for that one, but it will give the fans another 90 minutes of watching the sublime Sarr go to work again in what may as well be an Arsenal audition for the 21-year-old. His dribbling and low centre of gravity drew the foul that Sokratis sent-off and he gave the Ligue 1 side the all-important 3rd goal to make this tie interesting, and now the fans want him in Arsenal colours.

Sarr and Ben Arfa absolutely destroyed us. Have been saying since a while we should sign Sarr. Compare our wingers to the 10th best team in Ligue 1s… unreal performance. Obviously Sokratis getting sent off changed the game. Not convinced by that red. But am I surprised? Lool

The Gunners would love to add Sarr to their squad and despite his performance being against them, they were really impressed with the 21-year-old.
