Arsenal fans on Twitter have been taking something of a grilling after their awful loss to Liverpool on Saturday, but now that the 5-1 is behind them they’ve started looking ahead to the January transfer window as the rumours are flying. The latest story has seen The Mirror link the Gunners with a move for Norwich’s young full-back, Max Aarons.
Mirror | Arsenal are interested in signing highly talented 18 year old Norwich City right-back, Max Aarons.

At the age of just 18, Aarons has done extremely well to break into this Norwich side that is flying so high in the Championship. The second tier of English football is a tough place to thrive, and with the Canaries in 2nd, Max Aarons has done a sublime job in racking up 20 appearances this season, not to mention also scoring twice and assisting a further three goals in those games.
According to The Mirror’s article, Arsenal will be joining their North London rivals in the race for the youbgster, but the problem could lie in the structure of the deal. Norwich don’t want to lose out on promotion this season, so any deal for the 18-year-old will need to see him being loaned back to Carrow Road until the summer, something that Unai Emery will be reluctant to do considering the immediacy of the issues he’s got with his current defence.

Good backup right just what we need

Exactly the sort of signing I'd expect us to make. Makes a lot of sense too.

That's what I want from Mislintat, cheap gems with huge potential, who can leave for 50-60M after a few years. We can dream, but Emery won't get a huge financial backing from the yank…

No clue if he’s any good or not, but the right “type” of signing we need

Do it, and get Jamal Lewis for left back while we're at it.

The Gunners are desperate to get the youngster at the Emirates and will hope Unai Emery can get this one done sooner rather than later if it is to be completed.
