Arsenal: Fans react as Eddie Nketiah scores on his Leeds United debut

The excitement levels have risen among the Arsenal faithful after Eddie Nketiah scored his first goal while on loan at Leeds United.

The on-loan Arsenal man was in the right place at the right time as he turned in a cross from Helder Costa to open the scoring during the club’s Carabao Cup tie versus Salford City.

Leeds emerged 3-0 winners as they progressed to the next round of the Carabao Cup.

Nketiah, 20, featured heavily in Arsenal’s pre-season plans, turning out in every pre-season game for his parent club as well as scoring a brace versus Fiorentina.

However, it was decided that Nketiah would go out on loan, and thus he completed a deadline day move to Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Fans seem excited after the England youth international’s goal last night and took to Twitter to celebrate.
