Arsenal fans breathed a huge sigh of relief after journalist Charles Watts provided an update on Alexandre Lacazette and the reason for his substitution in Sunday’s north London derby.
The forward was taken off with more than 20 minutes to play after he showed signs of struggle during the game. However, Goal’s Arsenal correspondent Watts provided a much-needed news update on Lacazette saying he was suffering from cramp rather than a hamstring injury.
Arsenal came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur with the France international scoring the first Arsenal goal in first-half stoppage time.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed the comeback with a poaching effort midway through the second half.
Lacazette, 28, has been at Arsenal since the summer of 2017 after he signed from Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais.
The Emirates Stadium faithful were more than relieved after receiving the news as they took to Twitter to respond.
