Arsenal fans were slating manager Unai Emery for the club’s tactical approach in their 1-0 win over Bournemouth.
Will Arsenal qualify for the Champions League?
David Luiz won the game for the north London giants with a header from a Nicolas Pepe corner early in the first half.
The club had 12 shots on goal, with their two shots on target coming in the first 45 minutes. In comparison, Bournemouth had 10 shots on goal, also having two of them on target (via BBC).
Emery has been under fire after less than convincing performances from his side. Arsenal have had 15 shots or less in six of their eight games so far this season (via @Orbinho).
The game against Watford was a particular low point, with Arsenal facing a mammoth 31 shots on goal as they surrendered a two-goal lead to the Hornets.
Emery’s tactical approach to games seems to be annoying fans as they took to Twitter to slate the Basque-born manager.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
imagine this team with an attacking manager we should be putting 3 past every team! #EmeryOut

What you got when you didnt play Xhaka, put Torreira to shield the CB, and put a creative player in Özil pic.twitter.com/zu0AdQlwRM
