Wednesday night will see Arsenal step onto the pitch in Baku and play in their first continental cup final in over 13 years, and a place in next season’s Champions League final on the line as well as silverware, the Gunners have it all to play for against Chelsea.
With the Gunners under the greater pressure to lift the trophy after the final whistle, fans are expectedly nervous ahead of the biggest game of the club’s season, and when the news was announced of the players that were travelling to Baku for the game, it only amped up the nerves more.
Here is how some fans reacted to the news of the travelling squad on Twitter…
Wow, in need of some quality in midfield and defence.

The midfield is not half-bad. The defence though (apart from koscielny, kolasinac, sokratis) sucks and the attack is not good enough (apart from auba and laca)

That defence is so awful….. Makes me want to cry.

All I see is so many to be sold this summer. Urgent need for better replacements

No Ramsey, no Mhkitaryan, the creativity responsibility falls largely on Ozil’s shoulders;https://t.co/CxLw1ZHLXP

Man this really just shows how much improvement we need to make. This roster is just not good enough

Arsenal will be without Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who misses out due to political tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
