Arsenal fans take to Twitter in hysterics at Spurs’ U18s bottling it

As far as Arsenal fans are concerned, Tottenham Hotspur will always be bottlers. Whether it’s the senior side, a veteran’s team or any age group side, it runs in the club. It will always give the Gunners a chuckle seeing their rivals fall, and yesterday as a U18 North London Derby took place, the Lilywhites well and truly Spursed it.

A lot of Arsenal fans who would have been keeping up with the U18 clash between their youngsters and the Spurs equivalents won’t have held out much hope of winning the game from 2-0 down in the 85th minute. However, Tottenham did what Tottenham do, and goals from Bukayo Saka, Kodi Lyons-Foster and Ben Cottrell saw the game turned on its head in the space of just five minutes.
No matter what the occasion or the importance of the game, a North London derby win will always be something to celebrate for both the Lilywhites or the Gunners, and this time around it was a very jubilant Arsenal laughing away as they celebrated an incredible finish to the clash. Tottenham fans won’t want to know and will be keen to avoid something similar happening at senior level, but as far as the Arsenal fans care, it’s happened again.

Whether the Gunners are enjoying the win or the fact Spurs bottled it more is up for debate, but either way they’re absolutely loving life.
